The Parents & Friends of St. John's School Association is made up of parents that are interested and prepared to help with fundraising events. If you have a child at St John's then you are automatically a member.
All parents are welcome to come along to our meetings and help us decide where the money we raise should be spent.
The St. John's Parents and Friends Association is a registered charity managed by a small committee of parents. As a parent and carer of a child at the school you are automatically a member of the PFA. Meetings are held every other month in the library and everyone is welcome to attend. We plan events such as discos, fairs and fireworks all held to raise money to benefit the school
Thank you to everyone who came, danced and helped out at the KS2 disco last Friday. We were thrilled to offer our year six leavers free entry to the party. We hope everyone had an amazing time.
This just about rounds up our events for 2016/17, but don't forget the Dragon Boat Race at Bewl Water on September 9th. Please sponsor our brave dragons generously and come along to support them on the day. It's a fantastic family day out.
Our Annual General Meeting is now set for October 5th.
Even though every parent at the school is automatically a member of the PFA, the day to day administration of the charity is run by a small committee of parents, some of whom are now leaving the school. Various roles on the committee will be vacant, so if you want to get more involved, please come along to this important meeting.
Thank you for all your generous support this year and have a wonderful summer break.
