Term 5 Activities for home learning

*Last updated 22nd May 2020

Hi Year Two,

You've made to the end of term! smiley Well done to every single one of you for all your efforts in term 5. You have really risen to the challenge of home learning and we're so proud of you. We'd also like to extend our praises and thanks to all your wonderful parents and carers.

Please take the time to rest during the half term break and enjoy time with your family.

If you need anything, please feel free to contact us:

Here's a few ideas for keeping yourselves entertained for the week ahead. There is no expectation for you to have to do these things, they are simply suggestions.

Why don't you have a go at a gratitude scavenger hunt? You can try and find the following things either at home or when you are out and about with your family. Please remember social distancing and stay safe:

  • Find something that makes you happy.
  • Something to give someone else to make them smile.
  • Find one thing that you love to smell.
  • Find one thing you enjoy looking at.
  • Find something that's your favourite colour.
  • Something you are thankful for in nature.
  • Something you can use to make a gift for someone.
  • Find something that is useful for you.

You might like to have a go at the Tunbridge Wells in Bloom's Mighty Moths art competition. Have a go at creating an amazing Moths poster then take a photo of your artwork and email to including your name and age. The closing date is 1st June 2020. Here is a link:

You might like to use your time at home to take on a different 'lockdown' project. Why not find out what it takes to earn an iconic Blue Peter badge? We'd love to celebrate your efforts too, so remember to send us a picture of your project.

Be kind, be safe and be responsible.

Keep smiling and being awesome,

Mrs Gardiner, Mrs Bradshaw, Mrs Grant & Mrs Rule.
