Hello Year 2 children!
Well done to all of you for getting through the first week of home learning. We are so proud of all of you for adapting to the changes and we want to thank all of your families for supporting you with your learning.
This week we only have three 'school' days before you can relax and enjoy some family time during the Easter break.
Click on the stars below to access you home learning tasks.
There are so many activities available online, such as:
Joe Wicks PE lessons https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6v-a_dpwhro&feature=youtu.be,
David Walliams story sessions https://www.worldofdavidwalliams.com/elevenses/,
cooking with Jamie Oliver https://www.jamieoliver.com/features/category/get-kids-cooking/
or keeping up to date with global news on Newsround https://www.bbc.co.uk/newsround/news/watch_newsround.
Please feel free to compliment the activities we have suggested with anything that feeds your interest.
Remember to keep reading! Share a book every day and make a few notes about the story so that you can take the Accelerated Reader quiz once we're all back at school.
It is really important that you remember to look after your mental health. At the end of each day, try to think of 3 things that went well for you. Maybe you can lead the conversation in your families and challenge your loved ones to think of their three things too :-)
Once again, remember our school rules: be kind, be safe and be responsible.
Keep smiling and being awesome,
Mrs Gardiner, Mrs Bradshaw, Mrs Grant & Mrs Rule.
