Dear Year 6,
We have continued to organise your learning tasks for you in exactly the same way that you have been working in school.
To help you continue with your independent learning, we have split the work up into ideas for each week for some subjects. For others, you will be able to choose from a range of tasks. There are tasks and challenges for everyone across a range of subject areas. Don't forget that we are still here to help you so please email us if needed. To make this quicker, we suggest that you use our class email addresses (remember to copy a parent/carer into your email):
We know that sometimes it will be very tricky for you to try and fit everything in but we would encourage you to do whatever you feel you can manage. We don't want you, or your family, to feel overwhelmed. Remember we have given you choices of activities, we do not expect you to do everything and completely trust you to do what is right for you and your family. This is likely to be different for each family and that is absolutely fine.
If it helps, we have broken learning down for you into suggested timings (see tab below) to help you to manage and organise your day.
Finally, this is a particularly significant time in history so take time to reflect everyday in your personal diary. You will be creating primary evidence for future generations.
Remember, we are hugely proud of you and everything you are achieving. Take time to help your family everyday - no act of kindness is ever too small.
Be kind. Be safe. Be responsible.
