Reading Texts and Questions

Use the texts from the folders below to develop your reading skills. You might like to print the texts and have a highlighter at the ready or you might prefer to read on the screen. Remember to refer back to the text for each question you answer.

Just like tasks in school, the texts are organised into ‘Chilli one’, ‘Chilli two’ and ‘Chilli three’, depending on how challenging the texts and questions are. Choose your challenge!

You could also use the Reading Dog question starters to create questions for your own reading book. Challenge someone at home to answer your question (if they know the text) or come up with some together to answer.
