Bikability

The Year 6 Bike-ability pupils really enjoyed learning how to ride safely on the road. As part of this, you were taught how to keep your bike in good condition. Doing Bike-ability helped to encourage more students to ride their bike more often. Bike-ability included three lessons; the first one was on the top-playground in the school to learn road signs and to indicate round corners. The last 2 lessons were on the road so the instructors could test us to see if we were reliable and safe when riding a bike. Bike-ability involved lots of risk taking but the instructors were there to help us. Every time new things were learnt, going back to the basics was key. Lots of people overcame their fears of riding a bike; we are very thankful for the time and effort the instructors have put in to help us to feel more confident when riding on the road.
