St. John's Primary School is a Voluntary Controlled Church of England School situated in Tunbridge Wells. Christian values are at the heart of all we do and our Christian ethos is very strong.
We have strong links with our parent Church of St. John's and enjoy the excellent relationship we have with them. We believe that every child is an individual with different needs and that it is our role to ‘Nurture the Potential in everyone’.
We hope that when children leave us they are ready for secondary school and that we have provided them with foundations for life. We try to develop individual talents and personalities, as well as stressing the importance of responsibility and independence. Our children are encouraged to fully participate in all school life has to offer them.
In November 2017 Ofsted judged us to be a good school. We are pleased that they judged our school to be good in all four of the key inspection areas:- achievement of pupils, quality of teaching, behaviour and safety of pupils and leadership and management. Please go to our Ofsted page to see the full report.
