Free School Meals

Free School Meals

Your child might be able to get free school meals if you get any of the following:

  • Universal Credit
  • Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999

 

Households may also be entitled to a free meal if they

  • are in receipt of income-related Employment and Support Allowance
  • receive the guaranteed element of Pension Credit
  • meet criteria set out in separate guidance for families with no recourse to public funds

Universal Infant Free School Meals

All children in Year R, 1 and 2 are entitled to a free school meal.
