It is important that we have a staggered start each day to ensure the health and safety of all children and adults. Year groups will arrive on site and leave at different times. If at all possible, please time your arrival to minimise the time spent on the school site if you have more than one child.
Please maintain a social distance of 2m if possible with only one adult per household to come onto site. Adults should leave the school site immediately after drop off/pick up.
A one-way system is in place for drop-off and collection to ensure social distancing. Parents are able to enter the site either via Newlands Road or the main pedestrian entrance from Cunningham Road. Parents may exit via the top exit onto Cunningham Road, via the community playground towards the allotments or via Newlands Road. If exiting via Newlands Road parents must leave the playground via the steps and not the ramp as this remains one way.
Parking in the school is restricted to disabled access only. As the school is in a residential area, we would appreciate it if you would kindly park considerately.
It is important that children are not late for school. Late arrival in the classroom can be upsetting for pupils and can disrupt the smooth running of the school. If a child is repeatedly late, we will contact parents in order to identify the reason for the lateness. For instance, it may be that a child dawdles on the way to school without the parent's knowledge! In the case of persistent lateness, we may have to involve the Welfare Officer who will visit the child's home to work with parents to resolve the problem.
