Governor’s Theologically Rooted Vision
`St. John’s is a school with a Christian foundation. Inspired by St Paul’s words that in Jesus Christ all our barriers are broken down (cf. Galatians 3:28), we welcome all children and adults into our community. We believe that all people are made in the image of God (cf. Genesis 1.27) and therefore we want our children, families and staff to know that they are of infinite worth, valued, and cared for. Knowing Jesus wanted every person to have “life it all its fulness” (cf. John 10.10), we want our children to be passionate about learning and we want to equip them with the tools that will enable them to flourish academically, emotionally and spiritually. In all we do, therefore, we seek to "encourage one another and build up each other, as indeed we have been doing.” (1 Thessalonians 5.11)
